Equipment does not rent or sell personal information. We may share your personal information with third-parties for purpose of providing you with Equipment online services and installation of other authorized services. These third-parties may use your information to perform the services and to offer you other products or services that may be of interest to you.
Except as described herein, Equipment will only provide information to a third party if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws or in response to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant.

What Personal information we collect
- Purchase Information: When you make a purchase from the Equipment Store, we collect your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences, credit card information, and any other information necessary to complete the transaction.
- Log-in Information: When you create an Equipment ID, we require your name, email address, and create a password that we store, so you can access your Equipment ID account.
- Email Subscription Information: When you subscribe to email notifications, we require your name and email address that we store so we can send you email notifications. If you want to cancel your subscription, each email contains an opt-out link where you can canel the service at anytime and we will remove your information from our mailing list.
- Usage Information: When you are logged into Equipment's website, online services, interactive applications, or Equipment Store, we record your IP address, along with any changes to your account settings you make through the interface. This data is stored along with your email address and history of account settings on our servers.
- Website Use Information: Equipment uses tools such as Google Analytics to collect information from visitors in order to understand how they use our products, services, content, and advertising.
How we use your personal information
The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on Equipment's latest product announcements, software updates, and upcoming events. It also helps us develop, deliver, and improve our products, services, content, and advertising.

If we do combine non-personal information with personal information, the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.

Equipment's website, online services, interactive applications, email messages, and advertisements may use "cookies" and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons. These technologies provide insight and help us gain an understanding of user behavior by telling us which parts of our website people have visited, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and web searches. We treat this information as non-personal information. However, we consider Internet Protocol (IP) address or similar identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, we treat the combined information with the same care as personal information.
Equipment and our partners may also use cookies and other technologies to remember personal information when you use our website, online services, and applications. The goal in these cases is to make your experience with Equipment more convenient and personal. Equipment uses session cookies to keep you logged in while you use features of our website, online services, and applications. The session cookies disappear after you close your browser. We also use persistent cookies which stay in your browser and allow us to recognize you when you return to our site.
Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change the settings to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you turn off cookies, parts of our website, online services, and applications may not work.

You can help ensure that your contact information and preferences are accurate, complete, and up to date by logging in to your Equipment ID account. For other personal information, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access so you can request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if Equipment is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13 we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
Location-Based Services
To provide location-based services Equipment, our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously and does not personally identify you and is used by Equipment and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services.
